Ryan J Downey, L.S./S.D. is a State of Vermont Licensed Land Surveyor with over 20 years of experience in the field. He is a graduate of Chaminade University of Honolulu, Honolulu Hawaii, with a degree in Business Administration and Management. He is also a United State Navy veteran with 7 years of honorable service as a Naval Air Traffic Controller.

The reason I chose Point of Beginning as the name of this firm is because I want to be the first person you think to call with any land development needs. What is important to me is that you are left knowing we are professionals eager to provide you with an assortment of different land planning and consulting services. Moreover if your needs are something we can not provide you directly, please know we have spent the past 20 years developing a strong working relationship with local and State representatives who know and trust the quality of our work we do. During that time we have established vast network of contractors, investors, real-estate agents, engineers, and others who we work hand and hand with who will ensure that your project is completed as economically and efficiently as possible.
